My training journey began 8 years ago as a puppy trainer, with the hopes of becoming a service dog trainer. During that time, I trained over 150 puppies and supported their owners through the ups and downs of puppyhood. That path shifted when I rescued dog, Goose, an adolescent bully mix that was found on the freeway.

Working through his behavior challenges showed me that training isn’t about control; it’s about mutual trust, understanding, and building resilience, which all lead to confidence. As Goose learned to trust himself and his confidence in the world around him grew, I learned that our training journey helped me do the same. 
 

Today, while I still love training, my true passion lies in education and helping owners better understand dogs as a species and how we can support them in navigating a modern world that wasn’t designed with them in mind.

 

In my free time, Goose and I head out into the wild and live out of the truck with my partner, Drew. That’s where we’re happiest. Grounded, connected, and reminded why we have been blessed to have dogs as our companions.
